Downtime Cafe is always developing great food and unique new dishes to share with you. Where to start? Here are some of our Signature dishes that you really should try out.

Butter Shrimp Spaghetti

One our signature dishes, the Butter Shrimp Spaghetti has a rich culinary history.
A Vietnamese immigrant family in San Francisco created their famous garlic noodles back in the 1980s. The dish was neither Vietnamese, nor was it American, but it caught on like crazy.
We did a lot of research in our kitchen in order to reverse-engineer their famous secret recipe. It took us a while, but we finally cracked it!
We’re happy to present to you the Butter Shrimp Spaghetti. It’s our version of the legendary San Francisco treat, and we think it really is the best spaghetti in Bali.
Chicken Mushroom Spaghetti

If you want to treat yourself to a delicious dinner, we welcome you to try our delicious Chicken Mushroom spaghetti.
The dish features chicken thighs, seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs, then pan-seared to perfection, and dressed with sauteed mushrooms in a creamy, rich, luxurious sauce.
The Chicken Mushroom Spaghetti has become a dinnertime favorite since its debut. Check it out!
West Coast Burger

“Your West Coast Burger is the best burger in Bali!” We are really happy to hear our customers say that, but to be honest we have to give credit where credit is due.
The West Coast Burger was modeled after one of Los Angeles’ best burgers. We were craving an In-n-Out burger but they weren’t likely to open an outlet in Bali anytime soon. So to satisfy our burger cravings we took it upon ourselves to head into the kitchen to research and reverse-engineer those iconic Southern California burgers right here.
That’s how the West Coast Burger came to be the best burger in Bali.
Sunset Burger

The famously not-so-secret menu at our favorite LA burger spot had an option where you could get your burger animal-style with added mustard and grilled onions.
Keeping in the spirit, we’ve added our own twist to the animal-style burger. We grill your patty with extra mustard, and add a nice helping of caramelized onions to your burger.
We’ve named it the Sunset Burger, after the scenic Sunset Boulevard that cuts through Los Angeles.
Chicken and Waffles

The best chicken and waffles in Bali is our combination of sweet and salty, soft and crunchy, and the surprisingly great combination of waffles, maple syrup and fried chicken.
Fried chicken and waffles as a dish likely originated in Harlem, New York, before coming to Los Angeles and becoming a Southern California fixture.
Downtime’s Chicken and Waffles consists of our seasoned crispy battered chicken thighs, paired with our famous soft and crispy waffles.
It feels like a piece of California in a plate. Truly the best chicken and waffles in Bali.
Confit Chicken Salad

The Confit Chicken Salad is more than just a salad. Our Confit Chicken Salad is a complete meal.
We take garlic and herb-infused chicken quarters and cook them low and slow for hours. We add fresh lettuce and herbs with our own special dressing to make up the salad that it is served in, along with slow-cooked potatoes.
Want to experience the best salad in Bali? Look no further than the Confit Chicken Salad!
Shrimp Po’Boy

Looking for hands-down, the best sandwich in Bali?
The best sandwich in our opinion is the Shrimp Po’Boy, from the folks in New Orleans. You get an amazing sandwich of overflowing crispy battered shrimp, lettuce, vegetables, stuffed inside of a French roll along with our own remoulade sauce.
The rich flavors and contrasting textures from the batter, the shrimp, the vegetables, and the crusty soft bread truly makes the Shrimp Po’ Boy the best sandwich ever!
Huevos con Ajos

One of the best breakfast dishes is called Huevos con Ajos or “eggs with garlic” in Spanish. This delicious dish originates from the southern coast of Malaga in Spain, but has many variations as each household has its own way to make this homey dish. The dish is essentially eggs fried in garlic and olive oil until they develop a crispy golden crust. We serve the eggs with some slow-cooked confit potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and tomatoes. The final result is truly amazing, and is vegetarian-friendly too!
Mushroom Philly

Did you know you can get an excellent version of the famous Philly Cheesesteak in Bali?
The Philly cheesesteak is without a doubt, the best food tradition ever to come out of the city of Philadelphia. The real Philly cheesesteak features grilled beef, onions, and topped with provolone cheese.
In our version we make our sandwich with ground beef, grilled onions, and a helping of grilled mushrooms for an extra umami boost.
So if you’re looking for a Philly cheesesteak in Bali, you gotta try our own Mushroom Philly!
Poutine

Poutine is Canada’s national dish, originating from the province of Quebec, consisting of fries with cheese curds and gravy.
In our version of poutine in Bali, we use large chunks of mozzarella cheese, piled high along with gravy on top of crispy, fluffy, hand-cut fries, topped with bits of crispy bacon.
